If so, we have an exciting opportunity here at Marston’s for a Marketing Assistant to provide crucial marketing support for our Community Pubs division within our Commercial Marketing team.
Reporting into our Head of Marketing, you will work closely with the Community Pubs marketing team, wider Commercial Marketing team and Operations team to support a diverse range of pubs – specifically supporting with delivering our annual marketing plans.
You will have the opportunity to work on a varied range of day-to-day tasks and projects including food and drink menus, seasonal campaigns such as Christmas and the creation of local marketing tools You’ll be working closely with our in-house Studio Team and external agencies to ensure we deliver high quality, accurate and timely communications to our guests across several different marketing channels.

Supporting with activating our annual marketing plans and campaigns.
Write engaging briefs to ensure our pub teams are well informed about upcoming campaigns and activations.
Managing communication between our pubs and the wider marketing team as well as being the face of our internal Facebook groups where we communicate with pub teams.
Supporting with pub allocations – making sure everyone gets the right support at the right time.
Visiting our pubs to ensure our marketing materials have been delivered as planned and that teams have followed the actions in your briefs
Working on ad hoc projects that support the business objectives.
Communicating to key stakeholders at all stages of a process
Raising and managing purchase orders and other administrative tasks as and when required.
What could the ideal candidate look like?

Someone who shares our passion for local community pubs and loves the idea of spending time in pubs to engage with pub teams and generate new ideas.

Someone with excellent communication skills who can work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

A self-starter who has experience of continuously meeting deadlines.

The ability to collaborate and implement high quality work whilst also being able to adapt whilst working on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
This role will suit someone looking for their first role in marketing or with 1-2 years’ experience.
