We're looking for an engaging General Manager for a community pub with hotel rooms and large function rooms in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package. 

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Boundary in Alfreton and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Boundary is a unique business, serving as a hub of the community and close to local amenities whilst also including a 12 bedroom lodge and two function spaces. This gem of a pub has a large function business able to accommodate up to 150 people and regularly conducts large functions including weddings. In addition there is a smaller, well-equipped meeting room within the lodge which is ideal for business meetings.

The Boundary is a large open plan bar and restaurant able to accommodate up to 180 people and also offers a large outside space with children's play area and ample car parking. The sky is the limit with this business, with plenty of opportunity to host a regular calendar of events for the locals whilst also promoting the facilities on offer here.
