We have a vacancy for a proactive and passionate HR Business Partner who will support the operations teams within our Community pub division, covering the South of England.

 

This varied role would suit someone with previous experience in a generalist HR role, who is passionate about our industry, our guests and most importantly our people. We are looking for someone who can drive business performance by working collaboratively with Operations Managers and their teams, providing sound commercial advice and people centric solutions. 

 

You will need to build strong relationships with your stakeholders and work with them to deliver their people plans to drive performance in their areas. This will involve ensuring we attract, retain and develop the best talent; supporting your stakeholders with executing engagement and retention plans, driving a performance culture and promoting a growth mindset.

This is a strategic generalist role, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and is an agile role, so you will manage your own diary to suit business needs. You must be prepared to travel throughout our Estate and be within a commutable distance to our Pub Support Centre in Wolverhampton.

  • Enjoy working at pace in a supportive, forward thinking and busy team 

  • Be a confident and engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Be energetic, passionate and driven by results 

  • Have the ability to coach and positively influence peers and managers 

  • Have project and change-management experience 

  • Be able to analyse data, spot trends and make recommendations for improvement 

  • Have strong commercial awareness

  • Have previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in the Hospitality or Retail sector

  • Preferably be educated to degree standard or equivalent 

  • Have a full UK driving licence – travel will be required
